For the first time we are sponsoring and running the Wellness Area at local legendary music event, Home Farm Festival. Run by the incredible School In A Bag Charity, HFF15 is finally here after a break due to the pandemic.

Here is a brief run down of what each of the sessions that are running entail:

Hypnotherapy – ‘Our Gift to Ourselves’

This session harnesses the power of hypnotherapy in a safe and supportive space, offering the gift of an open state of mind and enabling us to focus our subconsciousness on achieving our conscious goals.

1-1 Guided Self-Exploration – ‘Me’

Our minds are hugely powerful and our thoughts, incredibly complex. T will accompany you as you look inside yourself, mapping your journey and holding the space so you can explore where and what you choose.

Meditation & Mindfulness

Take time to relax and unwind, check in with your body and just be for a while – let go of your stresses, worries and obligations as we breathe together and fill our bodies with positive light energy.

Circle Time

Lou leads a circle of positivity where we learn about the effectiveness of positive affirmations and pass good energy around group.

Zumba

A Latin-inspired dance cardio workout with Sharla from Anytime Fitness. Get fit, stay fit. Burn calories while having fun at the best exercise class ever!

Self Help Talk & Advice Drop Ins

Practice today what you want from tomorrow – practice makes permanent! Evaluate your life and sense of inner peace with help from Claude, and take the opportunity to discover a happier you.

Your Tree, Your Wellbeing

The session will take you on a reflective journey. Who are the most important people to you? Embracing your influential memories. What activities take you to your happy place? How do all these things sustain you, your mental health and your wellbeing.

Hula Fitness

The hula hoop is more than just a toy — it’s also a super fun exercise tool. Better yet, unlike many other aerobic exercises (running, hiking, dancing, etc), hula hoop workouts are low impact on the knee and hip joints, making it something people of all ages can enjoy.

Hatha Yoga

Haṭha yoga is a branch of yoga which uses physical techniques to preserve and channel the vital force or energy. Come and tune into your body as you learn this great for of exercise with Nolan.

Tarot

There are 78 cards in a Tarot deck, 22 represent major events and the rest are minor everyday stuff.  Tarot cards are spiritually guided so while the reader might be wrong, the cards are always right! Readings with Tina from The Temple, Yeovil.

Circuits

Circuit training is a combination of six or more exercises performed with short rest periods between them for either a set number of repetitions or a prescribed amount of time. One circuit is when all of the chosen exercises have been completed.

Stretch

Stretch classes, as the name suggests, are all about setting aside dedicated time to stretch your muscles. Work with Laura from Pole Fitness Yeovil to work out some tension and give your muscles some well deserved attention.

Pilates

Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility.

HIIT

HIIT exercise sessions generally consist of a warm up period followed by repetitions of high-intensity exercises separated by medium intensity exercises for recovery, then a cool-down period. The high-intensity exercise should be done at near maximum intensity. 

BSL

An essential and important form of communication, making the world a better place for all kinds of people. Come and learn some British Sign Language basics with Claire.

Bodyweight

Sharla will guide you through a series of strength training exercises using only your own body weight as resistance against gravity. No equipment needed for these great any time, any place workouts!
