These are all local services, mostly in Yeovil itself, although we do include some for countywide and the southwest if no specific local service exists. We regularly check that this information is up to date and still valid, but please let us know if you are aware of any changes that should be made.

Support Groups

Facial Palsy UK Yeovil Support Group
A support group for adults who live with facials palsy, from any cause. This group allows people to exchange information, share experiences and provides mutual support in an informal and friendly environment. For more information please contact Elaine

Lipreading and Managing your Hearing Loss in Yeovil
Classes to encourage self-management, support independence, and encourage a positive approach to hearing loss with others experiencing the same difficulties making much needed social contact. Meeting weekly, at the Vicarage Street Methodist Church, Yeovil on Thursday morning from 10.00 – 12.00, access using the back entrance. The Lord’s Larder Yeovil Foodbank
The Lord’s Larder Food Bank is a local ‘bank’ of non-perishable in life ambient food operated by volunteers from churches in and around Yeovil. All requests for Lord’s Larder Food Parcels need to be requested through an agency. If you are not currently working with an agency at the moment, or you have not received a food parcel from us before, then contact the Citizen’s Advice Bureau (see helplines above)
