Hello and welcome to our information station for Yeovil Does Pride 2024!
We’re still very busy behind the scenes working and organising to make Pride happen this year. This page will be updated when we have something new to say. But what can we tell you right now?
Yeovil Does Pride is happening on Saturday 7th September 2024!
Once again, this will be a free event, but as before you will need a ticket and a wristband. Plus this year your wristband will have a bonus feature… We’ll let you know more about that later.
We are planning for a day time event welcoming all ages from 12pm – 4pm. This will include our Pride Parade through the town centre, down to Ninesprings where we will have our picnic in the park and activities building on what we did last year.
We are also having an evening event and held at the Gateway, from 7pm-10pm. The evening will start with some rounds of bingo, with many prizes to be won, followed by our own idea Queereoke. This combines traditional karaoke and disco so that anyone who isn’t keen on singing but would love the opportunity to “lip-sync for their life” can have the floor to themselves to do so just like a karaoke singer. We know we have some really talented people in our community so we can’t wait to see you shine!
