Read our statement about why we are putting on a pride event on September 3rd 2022 in Yeovil here.

The Pride Parade Route, Accessibility Alternatives and Accessibility Guide can be found here.

We’re getting everything sorted as quickly as we can, and we’ll do our best to keep you updated as we go along.

Here are some questions we can answer already:

Yes. Tickets will be available shortly via eventbrite and then you will need to show your ticket on your phone on the day and get a wristband in exchange. Don't worry, the event is still free of charge - we're not after your money! We have to limit our numbers for insurance purposes and for health and safety reasons to make sure we have enough stewards and adequate first aid cover etc.
The Picnic in the Park is being held in Ninesprings, in the long green space behind the cafe.
There are two unisex public toilets adjoined to Ninesprings Café. One has disabled facilities and the other has baby changing facilities.
We love dogs! This event is being held in a public park, so dogs are welcome but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead, no matter how well-trained. If that's a problem for your pup, then we ask that you please leave them at home. Not everyone is comfortable around dogs and there will be lots of food laying around on floor level, so any four-legged friends need to be kept under control.
Most public Yeovil car parks, including the one at Goldenstones which is the closest, are listed on the SSDC website here. This gives information about how many standard, disabled and motorcycle bays there are in each location. You can also find a map of locations and information about parking charges here.
We're not able to have any stalls this year, we are just having a parade through the town and commuity picnic. Having traders involves licensing and where we are organising this at the eleventh hour, there isn't enough time required to apply for the permits needed.
